If you dont mind to walk over a medium sized sand dune and about a 100m dune walk then you need to check out the Sardinia Bay beach.

Its a fun environment for a family day on the beach where kids can build sand castles and then cool down in the water whist the adult can enjoy a day in the sun.

The beach line not very far from the Sacremento hiking trail so if 100m is a breeze then get your hiking boots out as there is some rocky patches that need to be crossed and walk the beach for about 4km and dont forget the 4km return walk back to your vehicle.
