The Gautrain is a network of modern high speed trains and comfortable buses that cover a distance of around 80km between Johannesburg and Pretoria. The train operates from Park Station in Central Joburg to the OR Thambo Airport or to Pretoria making the following stops in between:
- Rosebank
- Sandton
- Malboro
- Midrand
- Centurion
- Pretoria
- Hatfield
When arriving at a Gautrain station commuters can then use the Gautrain buses that operate from the train station to major points of interests in the area.
The Gautrain or their buses do not accept any cash payments. A Gautrain gold card would need to be purchased and loaded with credit in order to utilise the Gautrain services. These cards can be acquired from any Gautrain station.
